My First Post!!
Just wanted to say I just "joined". I picked up a 86 B2 XLT for such a low amount, I'm embarassed to tell anyone the price. It runs as good as a 2.9 with 120+K can run. Needs a grill, and a paint job, not to mention other little things. Oh, and the Rear ABS light is lit up.
All in all, it's a cool little truck. Can't wait to really rip into it.
BTW: Anyone have a 86 grill laying around? I need one, since the surround is all busted out of mine on the driver's side.

congrats on your first b2 sorry i dont have any spare parts laying around but im sure your local auto salvage yard has a good amount of these trucks in their yard the grills diddnt change much till 90 i believe i know the one on my 85 looked the same as the one on my 88 good luck

The grill style changed in 89 to a three piece system. The rangers and bronco II shared common grill components so this should be easy to find at your local scrap yard.
If anyone needs a complete 89 grill + headlight and turnsignals(all black) in decent shape, email me directly. I changed my sons over to chrome.

My First Post!!
The guy I bought the B2 off of found a grill in his garage, up in the rafters. He called me and told me to come and get it! Pretty nice of him if youa ask me, after all, I did practically steal the thing from him.
