Oil pressure question?

I am new to the forum so first off I'd like to introduce myself. My name is Nick and I live in Huntsville, AL. I just bought a 2000 F150 supercab Lariat. The truck is awesome. I've been into minitrucks for about 5 years and just decided to get into a fullsize. Fords are all my family drives. The question I have is on a cold morning, I can go outside and crank my truck. All of the gauges come on fine. Within 5 seconds the oil pressure gauge drops to zero and the oil light comes on. I can tap the gas and the gauge goes to normal and stays there. The oil was just changed and everything was fine with it. It wasnt too low.

Anyone know what might cause this to happen?

This is a nice site btw. Very informative.
