cracks in dash board

cracks in dash board
Just wondering if anyone knew how to fix those cracks in the vinyl dash? Its split right open about 3" long. and a couple smaller ones. Its the dash piece than wraps around the stereo deck and runs across to the passenger side door. Above the glove box. Ford wants $215 for this piece and the junkyards are worse than mine.

In our area we have a business which makes house calls and is called something like "Dr. Vinyl"--lady came, used a bit of epoxy or something like that, then mixed a special "plastics/vinyl" paint, and had a neat little spray gadget, to blend the new paint with the existing colour--end result was no more crack and an invisible repair. Total cost, about $25. Maybe there's something like that in your area.
