Is there a suitable paper filter replacement for the Oil Bath Filter on a 2bbl Carb on a 352 V-8? Or do I need to completely replace the Air Filter Housing? If so, any recommendations for an inexpensive one?
The biggest driver for wanting to replace it, is that I park the truck on a pretty decent incline, and everytime I take it off, I get oil all over the place.
Yeah, I replaced my oil filter with a regular one. Just make sure the air filter housing base is the same size on your carb. They sell adapters at the auto parts store. All you need is the top and bottom housing pieces, a new paper filter, and a piece of threaded rod that will attach to your carb and wing nut.

Dumb question but are you putting too much oil in it?
