I also have the blue interior crew cab. I have been un-able to find any rear door panels. I get a sympathetic laugh when i have talked to the reproduction parts suppliers asking for the panels. If you are able to find a source, let the rest of us 70's crew cab guys know. Thanks
I saw a mint interior for a crew cab years ago in a junkyard, it was all black and perfect shape. I thought it would be there forever but it only lasted about a year. I should have bought it for the hell of it because I'm sure they are not easy to come by!
Just a heads up for any of you crewcab guys. There's an auction for a set of rear door panels on ebay right now, auction number is 7931470015.
If you go to an automotive paint shop ask them about vinyl/plasitc paint. You can change these door panels to any color you need using a good paint and they'll look like new. The brand I've used is called "SEM". I also use a product called "Bulldog adhesion promoter" which can be purchased from any place that sells the vinyl paint. This will help assure that your paint won't peel or bubble when exposed to the scorching heat of the cab during the summer months. It's about $8 a can and you just spray it on before painting.
Anyway, just wanted to give a heads up to our crewcab guys.
