Thanks "FTE"
Good info, Good conversation.
Hooked up to the boat this last weekend and headed down to the Snake river to do some Stealheading. The beast is pulling like nothing I have ever had before, passed several cars and things are sailing along very smooth. Started up a little bump in the road (hill) got out in the passing lane to go around another car and KBLAM, Thought the hood came unlatched. Second thought, Serpentine belt. Third thought. No, I know exactly what this is, Blew the clamp, and the blue tube off of the turbo. Man, What a racket, and NO power. I coulden't bring myself to put the old beat up tool box in my nice new shiny truck, so I had no tools, except a pair of visegrips in the tackle box. got her put back together, and she has run like a raped ape ever since. Time to go get a new toolbox. Pulled the Lewiston grade( 6% & 7%) at 65mph pulling 3600 lb. boat. Truck didn't miss a beat. Droped her off at the Dealer this morning for some minor warrantee work, and to check the clamp on the turbo's blue tube.
Thanks again to everyone and their knowledge here at "FTE"

Just wanted to let you know there is now an updated intercooler pipe that is made of a resin material that actually bonds with the boots. Mine was replaced under warranty, so they should be able to do that to. Just be sure and ask to have the pipe replaced as well. If your dealer needs a part number let me know. One thing that is kind of neat is that my name is printed on the part number tag with special order delivery wrote on it..
Best of Luck,
Corey
Wish I had posted B-4 I took the truck in, I'll ask my service manager about the "Resin boot"? OR Resin Pipe? If anything else, I'll get on record my inquiry about the boot.
