Ways to Improve your MPG

- A tune-up perhaps.
- Pull the EEC-IV codes to see if a problem exists.
- Check for propper tire pressure.
- Fresh, clean fluids.
- Clean the fuel system.....to insure lack of carbon build-up and injecters are working propperly.
All basic stuff.....but with today's gas prices, even 1 or 2 extra MPG's is a big plus.

I've heard it doesn't help you much more, if any at all...because the air is just as "cold" as it would be with a regular intake.
Another tip-new wires/plugs
drive as if you have an egg between your foot and the gas pedal--proven to be affective but impossible for most people not to mention any names but initials are me and joe

http://store.yahoo.com/engineionizer-store/ is where you can read about it or buy it. All I did is go up to the thread search and typed in improve gas milage and it brought some items up like this and some improve fuel economy tornado thing. Check it out and tell me what you think.

Tornado=mostly snake oil
Electronic Engine Ionizer Fuel Saver sounds like Asian placebo aphrodisiac.
Time-honored methods of good state of tune, compression increase, ignition timing tweaking, thoughtful cam selection, friction fighting, decreasing wind resistance, rolling resistance, and vehicle mass, freeing up the exhaust, overdrive gearing, and lightening the throttle foot will always get you farther than some hypester's sinecure of gimmickry. I bet increasing the tire pressure and using quality synthetic lubes in the engine, gearbox, and rearend is likely to give you better results than some overblown "miracle" gadget.

tornado, is junk, does not work. i installed a mac cold air intake and got 2.5 mpg. i heard delta 40 series flowmastes will help with a better flow, and synthetic oils and lubes will help as well. tire pressure is a big thing as well as alignment. running factory size tires it a thing to look at as well.

I have found the single best method to improve fuel economy is drive like there is an egg between your foot and the pedal.
I get between 19 and 20 mpg pulling my utility trailer with my motorcycle on it at approx. 65 mph.
I get about 17.5 mpg running 75 mph empty.
Speed and acceleration are IMHO the biggest factors.
