Oil viscosity is more a factor of temperature than anything. Lighter weight oils (5w/20) maintain their ability to flow and coat parts better at lower temperatures than heavier weights. I would think, as long as you use a good quality oil, that 10w/30 oil would work well for you unless you live in a cold climate. I run 10w/30 year round and I live in Illinois where temperatures range from 100 degrees in the summer to below 0 in the winter.
