p.s. the web page is comin along my connection went down due to the storm and I have been busy but I will get it done hopefully this weekend. sorry for the delay.
Yes radiolotech I have a couple of questions for you on the electronics part of it. I swapping out my 302 in a 91 for a 351W. can I use my same computor and all the sensor hookups from the 302? I don't believe either ehgine had a mass air flow, I think they are both speed sensored. ANy thoughts?
I think you have to use a different computer for the 351 but I may be mistaken. I will have a better answer tomorrow when I am able to get to my service manuals.
lookin forward to see a local 4by website. I've got a 85 150 that plans to be a sick trail rig soon. I've hit the rubicon in a friends truck and would rather drive next time.
I also have an 89 bronco that I'm about to stick a new/rebuilt motor into. You guys have any shops in reno/sparks area that have done engine work for you?
Can you trail well with IFS or should I trash it for a straight axle on my 85?
Sorry all I am back. It has been a nightmare here. Lost my internet fow a few weeks and had a relative pass away. I feel bad for not getting the page done for yall yet. I'm back on it tho. As far as a machine shop here in Reno I highly recomend A Plus. Their number is 775-322-9551. They are on Manuel St. off of E. 2nd St. That is the only shop I will let do work for me. I have not had a problem ever with them. The prices are good too.
myself and another guy (now just members of wt4x4.com) were the ones that tried to start up the Sierra Nevada Chapter of 2 Big Broncos a few years ago. Their then president pulled the rug out from underneath us because he did not see enough progress. He didnt understand that Cal. is a huge state, and then adding NV into it makes for a lot of driving to and from events.
I dont recognize the user names here, but I know of a few people that live up in Carson. Big Norm is the one I know the best. There are several of us from Nor Cal too.
cool. its hard to recognize people under different names, ifyour is different. i do seem to remember a new guy from carson being on there from time to time.
My name on wt4x4 and FSB is "bucknbronc". I tried to get bucknbronc on here but messed up and had to get a new user name and they said that it was already in use, so I added the year of my truck on the front. oh well
