7.3 Injectors

Does anyone know a good way to test the old injectors on a 7.3 1988 up to 1993 in ford/intl engines? I have heard there is a way to test the breaking point of the injector to see if its bad but dont know how to do it.

Any help would be great

You need to go to a diesel injection service. They have all the cool expensive test tools.

This is for some of our fleet trucks I dont have any problem replacing ever last injector but was just wondering what they use to test them or possibly even buy some of the injector tools.

Shopdiesel.com sells the injectors for 25.00 bucks a piece. Did the whole truck for 200.00

I have read in my tech manual that the injector can be dangerous to play with as it can fire right through your skin so be careful. and all injectors should be flow tested and matched to each other to get a smooth running engine.
