my gear ratio

my 1984 f-250 has the axle code 73 what is the rato ive never herd of it it is 4x4

Code 73 is a 6300# Dana axle with 3.54 ratio gearing.
Either 2 or 4 wd.

dang 3 54 it seems really low it seems lower than that

it has the stock wheels and tires on it i i thaught the code 73 was for a low gear ratio

i got the 3.54 and 33" tires. makes that gear seem real low.
