egr valve?
i think its egr valve? i forget. anyway when i had the codes in my truck pulled the code for the egr valve came up. i was told that this was because i was running headers instead of teh stock manifolds. i thought the headers i got were supposed to work with the emissions equip though? any thoughts.

Not much of a description, Maybe you've drank as much as I have. But Your EGR should hook up into the #1 header tube if it's close to stock.( That's where mine ties in). As far as I'm concerned computers suck and I would much rather build Horsepower the old ways.

well im just passing on what i know. my computer has the code for the egr valve stored. and what i mentioned above is what the guy that puled it told me. just trying to figure out if something needs to be replaced or if i should just leave it alone.
