Creaking noise.

Hi,

As I push down on the front corners of my 92 explorer I hear a creaking noise, is this an indicator that I need new shocks? or something else?

Greasing the rubber components might help...the bushings and such.

Take a look at the lower ball joints, they have been discussed on the site several times. Mine on my 99 did the same thing and the right lower ball joint was very dry.
