When you pass someone driving slow, or are passed by someone, do you turn and look at them, or just drive on by?
I almost always turn and look to see who I'm passing, or is passing me. I usually try to do it so that they don't notice me. I was just wondering how many people do this as well.
Sometimes. It depends on how far I have had to creep along 30 mph below the speed limit, behind them. Sometimes, I'll even wave, if I'm real pleased with their driving ability.
depened how "good the view is" the longer the glance. some people have too reliese just because your in your car does mean no one can see what your doing in there. But then again it is pretty entertaining.
A few days ago I was going to work and was running late. There was a bright red Ferrari 360 Modena in front of me going about 40 mph in the right lane, and to top it off every one in the left lane was slowing down to take a look at the ferrari. It was a sweet looking car, but I was in a hurry and the two guys in the ferrari were getting me PO'ed. When I finally got around the ferrari, I stared the guy down and have him a couple of hand guestures, unfortunately my tint is pretty dark and that car was so low he probably didn't see me. IT'S A FERRARI, STEP ON IT!!!
I once passed a drivers ed car going 15-25 in a 45. I honked. I flashed my brights. AND I stared... that's just dangerous, people... if the kid is too scared to drive a real car, Fisher Price makes a pretty decent alternative...
I know the roads up here pretty darn good....and to award myself for learning and understanding the roads ill just look over at other drivers for distances as long as 1/4 miles thru curves, straightaways, downhill, up hill, etc. As long as i see traffic is clear infront of me, its pretty amusing for someone to keep looking up at you wondering WTF is going on and why you havent yet crashed. Tourists seem to get a kick and a leary feeling from it. But, since were on the topic...one thing that irritates me is being behind a vehicle that has rear facing seats....people just sitting there, staring at you, gives me the shivers....
only a glance, unless they deserve a longer look,
hell might slow down an stay right beside them a ways
or slow down after passing to get a real good look at the passenger,,,,,
