Door lock and Front end
HELP! Betsy is falling apart or at least it seems that way! 1st - the automatic lock on the passenger side door quit working. The power windows still work and everything else seems fine can anyone suggest how I got about fixing this? 2nd) - I started hearing this sort of popping nose coming from the front end on the passenger side as well, more prominent when I stop or when take off.

The likely cause of the power door lock not working is the door lock actuator. if you do a search here you'll find quite a bit of info on it.
Have you checked out the front end? You may have a worn ball joint or tie rod end or?

Got the door problem solved and now it's on to the front end, thanks to the good information posted here. I don't drive a lot since I work from home, I'll be taking it to the shop sometime this week. Another question though, the steering wheel on my truck is badly worn, what kind of steering wheel covers would you recommend or is there anyway to replace it?
