DTC code

I just installed the Hypertech Programmer III in my 2000 F350 V-10. As I was installing I received the DTC code P0100 --which I've found to be a Mass Air Flow Circuit Malfunction. What does this mean???

My guess would be somhow the tuner shut down that censor for pefromeance. All tuners will set of codes dont worry about it.

I also used a hypertech programer on my 2000 F250 5.4lL and did not get any codes. In fact the book makes mention to call Hypertech if you get any codes when finished.
