Window Weatherstriping
I have looked everywhere for Window Weatherstriping for my 1988 Bronco 2 - 2.9 v6 2wd. I need the weatherstriping for both front door roll up windows. JC Whitney carries the striping for Rangers of that year, but I was told they would not fit and that they do not carry the ones for Bronco 2. I have checked with body shops, Ford Dealers and Auto glass places and have looked all over the web. I cannot find them any where.
There are two weatherstrips with clips for each window, inside and outside.
The originals are sun dried cracking and missing pieces. Water goes straight into my doors and they leak air and noise when driving. The windows also rattle without them. I can purchase the rubber door and window seals, but NO weatherstriping can be found anywhere.
Before I go looking in the yards, where I will find more dried and cracked ones, I wanted to see if anybody had ideas or locations for me to contact for aftermarket parts. I have already tried every possible resource I can find.
My truck has only four, easily repairable dents and is in great condition otherwise - hardly any rust and 153,000 original miles. The interior looks brand new - minus the suncracking on the dash, and weatherstriping. Thanks - tchetti(No Email Addresses In Posts!)
