Any SCCA Drivers?
Anyone in here race with SCCA? I seem to have a penchant for speeding that took a year or two, an umpteenth ticket and $$$ to control, but I still got a bug. I've always wanted to race, and in particular road race. What am I looking at getting into here? I've looked at some of the schools that charge for a few laps and give you a license, but what is the process from desire to race to actually racing? I was a fan of the Audis and their 4 wheel drive take-offs at the start, then Cadillac came in and started to beast people. Either way, it's something I would like to seriously look into. They're even building a new track soon down here in Southern NJ, in Millville...probably in a few years. So basically, timeframe? money? location? start-up capital?
