help finding nice ranger
I am looking to find a 'new' Ranger. I have posted an ad in the "wanted" section, but thought I'd also mention it here. I am moving to where I will be driving 45 minutes to work now, instead of the 5 minutes I have had for the past 4 years, so my beloved 88 F150 4X4 is gonna have to go. I cannot afford the fuel for it! If anyone out there (or knows of anyone) in the Ohio area (or WVa,VA,TN,GA,PA) area has an 80's to '92 4cyl/5spd shortbed std cab Ranger for sale with minimal rust please let me know. Mechanical problems that are not too bad are not a problem, but I am not a body man, so rust has to be surface rust at the most and not requiring extensive bodywork.

I've been watching the autotrader.com site, but I don't see very many that are piquing my interest. I've called on a couple, and they are either sold or are long-beds. I can't really think of any other sites to go on to look. That is why I've left this post. There have been a couple around here for sale locally, but they are either too rusty for any long-term ownership, or are not what I want. It makes it tough trying to find a specific type! If I had the money and time, I'd fix my old one, but the body is shot, and it has sat for 5 years now, so brakes are gone, fuel pumps inop, etc. I'm just keeping it around in case I need the interior.
