Hey[br]
I have an 89 BII and have been having a problem with the Tach. It seems to run 1000 rpms over the REAL reading. This will happen until it is run for awhile. I also notice if I hit a road debri (bump, etc) it'll jump down. Sometimes the SOB will swing back 'n' forth several times. Any ideas?
I asked a similar question a few months ago, and got a couple responses. Look at the earlier messages here in "BII Forum" for 'strange tach behavior when cold'. As far as I know, my son's BII still has the problem, but runs fine.
