95 exploerer 1st to 2nd shift problem.

95 exploerer 1st to 2nd shift problem.
I posted this in the trans forum but I figured I could put it here and maybe get more eyes on it.
95 exploer 4.0L , 4R55E trans will not shift from 1st to 2nd normally. I can wind it out to about 3000 rpms and let of the gas pedal and it will shift to second and drive normally until I slow down again. In another post they had the same problem with the 93 exploer and they said to clean the MAF sensor, I have not tried it yet just want to see if anybody has other ideas so I can try them if the sensor cleaning does not work.
I have pulled the trans and rebuilt it, replaced one of the bands (it was broke) and also replaced the clutches, I replaced the gasket in the valve body but did not take the valve body apart, reinstalled the trans and still have the same problem.

Did you find a solution? I have an 01 sport trac that is slow to shift into 1-2 3-4 shifts other than that it is perfect. has always been serviced and I pulled the pan to inspect for debris(fluid very clean/no debris) I suspect one of the four solonoids delaying the shift????????? what did you find?
