In a week or two I am taking my 04 drw cc 4wd at to a dyno event. I am running an intake exhaust gauges and predator. Do you need to do a little brake tourque to get more boost? Also do I need to remove the speed limiter with the programmer for better #s.Any other tips for getting the most out of the truck?
Thanks
You won't be operating the truck if it's like most dynos...
won't hurt to remove the speed limiter ...
some at our dyno day with duallies had some issues because the rollers weren't wide enough for them....
(one even had smoke coming from the tire that was off the edge )
they had to reposition him...
you might consider a stock run and then a predator 100 hp run to see the difference...
we didn't do that, but we also had some stock trucks there that gave us the baseline we would have gotten...
Dyno chart in my gallery for comparison...
I was aware that I would not be operating the truck. The dyno is wide enough for duallies, I went the last two years but this is my first year w/a diesel. If I can take the time to do a stock and 100 hp run I will. This is mainly a T D R event( dodges) but all makes are welcome. If any hot 6.0s are near the south central pennsylvania area and want more info let me know. I would like to see some "healthy" fords there
