Lightbulb Resetting Overhaed Console

I have a 2004 F-250 Lariat with the overhead console. I know you have
to reset the computer when you fill up to get your average mpg, but do you have to reset it to get your "miles to empty" and if so, how do you reset it?

Thanks for this site and all the help available

no you dont, every time you start the truck it looks at how much gas you have left and figures it on that.

just push the left button and it cycles thru....
only issue I had was when I left the key on while refueling and it freaked out the overhead and fuel gauge ...
after a few starts it all straightened out...

according to the owners manual. After putting in atleast 8 gallons of fuel the computer resets the miles to empty.

Smile

That was the problem...like BigRedSuperduty said. Since gas is so high,
I will sometimes buy less than 8 gallons.

Thanks guys for help
