Horn Help

I've been spending all my time fixing the nagging little things that don't work in the truck. Now I'm down to the last one. My horn doesn't work like it is supposed to. The horn will blow when I ground the two contacts after removing the steering wheel but it's hard to steer without a steering wheel. A friend of mine tells me that I'm missing a carbon ring and a spring loaded contact point in the column harness. I have no idea what the parts look like. Anyone have a spare? The steering parts are always missing from the junk yards. My cancelling actuator is also broken so if I need to buy a complete column harness does it come with the ring and spring loaded contact?

Hey Pard,
I am also having problems with my horn working. You can buy turn signal cam with wiring harness for about $50.00 through dennis carpenter.com This is a ford truck restoration supplier in Concord,NC. The horn button is about $9.00

I've looked over the Dennis Carpenter website 2-3 times looking for that harness. Can you tell me the part number or what page its on?

I will have to find my catalog, but I know they have it. I bought one a couple weeks ago.
