86 longbed

I am going to purchase an 86 longbed, and already own an 83. I was wondering if anybody knew if an extended cab and short bed would fit on my longbed frame? Or would the mounting holes be way off? Thanks!!

measure the bolt hole distances on each bed..should be both the same..longer bed would just have more bed behind the rear bolts.

I believe all SC have a longer frame than the longbeds.

Keep in mind that the 1986 longbed has a 114" wheelbase, and the extended cab has a 125" wheelbase.
