I'm attempting to replace the bumper on my 02 Explorer, however, I'm concerned about the pushpins that hold the upper-cover in place.
I've read in other forums that you can pick up a simple tool at AutoZone or other such parts stores, but I was wondering if anyone actually knew the name for it...pushpin tool? pimp push tool?
Not really sure what to do. I'd appreciate any response!
There's a tool that looks sort of like a cat's paw but with wider forks. It's a small pry bar with a 90° bend on the end near the fork. While you're at the parts store you can also get some new push pins from the Help section. It may be worth while to prevent another trip to the store, as the pins can have a tendency to break.
