automatic w/ overdrive
I am putting a 460 in my 77 f250 crew cab & i'm trying to find an automatic overdrive trans to go behind it. Just wondering when they started using overdrive trannys in 3/4 tons, and which ones will stand alone(no computer controls). Thanks for the help.

Another way is the gear vendor OD behind a C6. Not cheap, but a decent od tranny, with a beef up, with a controller isn't free either.
Plus, you now have a 6 speed.....
