Slave

Well, RATS, the early 99's were terrible about clutches going bad, all my friends had em go out long ago, well yesterday , at 92,900 miles, my slave cylinder went out. (I THINK) The pedal was still good, the sensor still allowed for cranking, but it did make lunchtime traffic light driving comical. I think she(my truck) knows I have an 05 on the way, and the illustrious 100k is fast approaching. The crank sensor has been bad for a while now, but its so intermittent that I afforded myself to not bothering taking it in for warranty. I did take the opportunity while i was at the dealer to take the 05 just like I ordered, minus the towcommand system and moonroof, out for a spin, and like everyone else, was impressed, but wonder about the lag in throttle response. Will definetly take getting used to. Anywho... this is basically first time my 00 has been in the shop other than routine maintanence, I'm thrilled with the product i've gotten from Ford on the 95 and 00 pwrstroke, and EXPECT nothing less with the 05!!!!
