White smoke and running rough
93 F150, 302 engine...truck is running really rough at speeds lower than 60 mph and spitting out big clouds of white smoke from the exhaust when taking off from a stop...I'm also running through a couple of quarts of oil a week (I drive at least 100 miles/day, but that's ridiculous...)....it's been doing this for a couple of months now...not really running any worse than when it first started this, but the smoke problem is getting worse...Am I looking at a whole new engine here?

Pull the dipstick and check to see if it is foamy looking. I am thinking head gasket but the motor usually seizes up if driven very long and you have put a lot of miles on this thing since the problem started.

Are you losing coolant at all? White smoke is usually coolant. Oil burns bluish. Coupled with the rough running, I hate to say it, but you probably either have a cracked head or a blown head gasket.
