OBD1 reflashed to OBD2

Hey guys i have a weird question. A frend of mine works at a local ford dealer and told me that he can reflash my OBD1 computer (1994.5 F350 PSD) to a OBD2 system...i dont know if when he reflashes it if it installes new hardwear or just fools the ecm to think its a OBD2 system. Reason for doing this is that he told me i can use the powerprogram from powerchips for the PSD years from like 1999 to like 2003, instead of the one for my year truck 1994.5 to like 1997. Newer years have more power and tourqe on the high setting like 110hp and 200ft lbs instead of the 80hp and 130ft lbs for my year...well let me know what u guys think about this jibber jabber idea???? oh yeah the buddy iam talking about is the diesel tech at a local ford dealer.. thanks guys for reading hopefully i didnt confuse anybody.

I don't know alot about theOBD systrms but I would'nt buy into all the big hp numbers. With stock injectors in our trucks 50hp is about all you can get. The injectors aren't capable of injecting any more fuel than that.

Thanks for the info, but why do they addvertise for the 94.5-97 PSD they have a 80hp program for it, if ur saying the injectors can only handle 50hp. I dont think Superchips would make a program for 80hp if the truck's injectors can only handle 50hp?...thanks again.
