odometer help please!!

I'm a new guy so be nice.My 93 f-150 6 cyl. 4x4 has a problem with the odometer. it is reading ( erroe.3 ) It flashes between the miles and this error message. Can any one help me get rid of it, with oput sending the thing back to ford. I tried this on your forum last week but could not find out where I asked my question or the answers. I've got it writen down now.

I hope someone can. Mine did it once but I cant remember what it was. I dont even remember if it was 3 or something else although it was an error.
