I recently installed some aftermarket foglights and was wondering if i could somehow tap into the chime/buzzer noise so i know if i left the lights on.
Can it be done? Any suggestions greatly appreciated.
I agree with mustang.
Tho. Another way is you would have to tap into the hot lead in the headlight switch with a solenoid. When you turn on the headlights that solenoid will get 12v which can be wired to the fog light switch, when the switch is turned on it will power up another solenoid for the lights... make any sense?
I ran my aftermarket foglights from one of the parking lights. That way I had to turn on at least the parking lights for the foglights to come on. I wired it as follows:
1- run wire from parking light to switch for foglights
2- run wire from switch to foglights
3- run wire from foglights to ground.
