Hi Brent and welcome
Did you replace the pads and shoes? Rotors and drums too?
Usually the problem you're describing is caused by warped rotors or drums.

I've had this problem on my 82 F-150 as well as my 98. My experience is that there is a warped rotor or drum out of round. You can try machining them and if that fixes it good. I have been told the metal takes a "set" when casted and may warp again when it heats up. My 98 has 98K on the original pads and shoes with the same problem. When I get ready to change the pads and shoes will probably have the drums and rotors machined. The problem seems to come and go depending on how hard you get on the brakes. Good luck.
