Changing Engine Crossmember Mounts
I need to know how difficult it will be to remove the crossmember "perches"/mounts that bolt the engine into the engine bay.
I'm planning on doing a 300 to 351W swap and would like to know what i'm getting myself into. Also can i use the frame perches from a 79 F-series pickup, or is the engine x-member different?

You need the mounts out of an 80-96 ford truck (frames are different), but its not a bad job, just make sure you have all the clutch flywheel/torque convertor, etc, cause the 300 and the 351 are balance differently.
