When I completed the build of my '68 Bronco, I submitted around 50 photos of the truck in various stages of completetion to my State Farm agent to prove the work that was performed. I also described the value of the major components and guesstimated my total investment. They submitted the package to "whomever" at corporate, and within a few weeks they agreed to insure my truck for almost $18,000. I probably have $22K +/- in the truck, but what I got was better than nothing! It's also not a daily driver (tho' I have been driving it a lot lately) and I think they also have something in the policy about it having "antique" status.
