Fuel guage problems
Alright guys. I finally got internet avail. at my new house. I haven't been on for a while and have never been good at searching topics so if this is a repeat please excuse me. The question is...just recently my fuel guage on my 69 Ranger has been reading full. I haven't driven the truck for a while and decided to take it to work this past Wed. When I started up the engine the guage said 1/2 tank so off to work I go. on the way home I ran out of gas. I put $10 in and now the guage is reading full...and I know it takes more than $10 to fill. Is this a guage problem? Or maybe a float problem? Or maybe a guage stabilizer or something? Before when I got the guage working a full tank would only read 3/4 on the guage and E meant that I had a 1/4 tank or less. Now it's just the opposite.
