Electro-Shield

Has anyone ever used an electronic rustproofer that connects to the body of the vehicle and works off your battery?

Never. Sounds like a gimmick. Let me guess, dealer will include it in the financing for $650.....

Those are used on underground pipelines. I haven't tried to figure out if a car would work the same way, perhaps it might.

In order for this to actually work on a vehicle, the amount of amperage being sent through the body would ELECTROCUTE you every time you opened the door, and would drain your battery in about 15 minutes. I have direct experience with these things (don't ask), and several state attorneys general banded together and went after these companies. Save your money.
