Does anyone know where if they still make Knock it Loose. It came in a Red and Black can, This brock loose Nuts and Bolts that were rusted.
I used to buy it at NAPA but they no longer have it. I was hopeing that someone heard of it and knew where I could buy it. Yes it was a Penatrateing Oil. This was the best stiff I have ever used. You could use it on anything and you would be able to Knock it Loose.
I have never heard of the material you are seeking. CRC products come in a red and black can and are sold in various auto supply stores. There are several posts here on penetrating oils and ways to loosen bolts. I have tried many of them. I find brake fluid works fairly well but it is hard on paint. The Candle trick listed in the Read First: FAQ thread here has worked every time for me.
I would like to thank-you for gaveing me the information, this is the best stiff money can buy.
I will be ordering some and everyone will be trying to get it from me. Bwlive me this will be under lock and key. If you have never used it you don't know what you are miss. There is nothing like this, it works so good that you would not belive how rust is eaten away and how things looseing up after putting this on.
PB Blaster is the best stuff I have ever used. Time for the rusted part(s) to soak is very imprtant. Sometimes applying heat in the right proprtions can cause the rust to give.
Make sure the part(s) cool then apply PB blaster and let is soak.

You know I have used that also, but it does not hold a stick to Knock er Loss.
I wish that everyone would try Knock er Loss and find out which is better.
