99 150 trouble starting
Having trouble starting my 5.4 . When I turn the key it winds for 20 - 40 seconds before it fires up . When it does it is missing and acts like it is starved for fuel, but when I touch the accelerator it revs up like nothing is wrong . Any ideas what is wrong ? I havenot changed the fuel filter out where is it located ?

IAC valve is bad if you have to keep your foot on the gas for it to start up.

Fuel filter is along the frame on the drivers side directly under the drivers seat area. You need a special tool to change it, you can get it at autozone for a few bucks.
