Are Eagle wheels any good?

I was just woundering how people liked there Eagle wheels? I am about to get new rims and was going to go with Mickey T's, but seam to be getting better prices on the Eagles. Are they comparable? What about Extreme alloys from pro comp? Thanks!

I have eagle rims (16.5 x 9.75) on my truck and they work great. I've done lots of off roading on them and they seemed to hold up good to the garbage that I've thrown at 'em (mud, sand, rocks). I haven't had the other two types of rims before so I can't really comment on them. I'm sure others will be around shortly with more advice. Good luck!

The last two rigs I had (Had: 2002 7.3 F-350, Currently: 2003 6.0 F-350) Weld Racing Alloys. I know they are expensive, but they sure do keep their shine after a lot of beating. On my newest set I went with 16x12 Stone Crushers. I gave $410 a wheel. Got them through Showcase Customs here in St.Louis.

Best of Luck,
Corey

I bought 16X8 Eagle Alloy Series 143 and am waiting for my 235/85's to wear out so I can replace them with 285/75' on the Eagle rims. I've had Eagle's before on previous trucks and have always been satisfied with their finish, how they clean up, the workmanship, and how they look even after a few years in service.

I give them two thumbs up!!

I have Eagle Alloy 102's on my truck in a 16x8. I paid 440.00 for the set off ebay. They have held up great and would recomend them to anyone. Do a search on ebay for f250 and you will find all kinds of wheels.

My Eagles have been a NIGHTMARE..They are polished and anything that touches them seems to "stain" them. I'm around alot of saltwater as well and that, I found out is a no-no. I polish them every couple of weeks to help but they just can't seem to get the old luster back. And yes, I have used every cleaner on the market.. I will be getting some that are coated in the near future.

I believe they are lug-centric and the only hub-centric ones out there are the Weld Racing brand for our trucks. Someone correct me if i'm wrong
Looked on there site and found no info.

What's the difference between lug-centric and hub-centric.. Only reason I ask is because I went with WELD. Is that the reason or part of the reason they are more than the rest?? I just bought em' because they had a pair on their demo truck and MAN they look awesome!!

Thanks,
Corey

Lug-centric rims use tapered seat lug nuts to locate the rim on the hub. Hub-centric rims use the center hold to locate the rim to the hub. I think Welds are more expensive because they're forged instead of cast like most other aftermarket wheels.
