How familiar are you with the site fightingchance.com and the fax attack process they promote for purchasing vehicles? Have you had any experience with this and if so, in your opinion, how effective is it?
You know, I've come across the Fighting Chance site several times, but I have yet to ever receive (as a dealer) one of those "fax attacks" that they talk about. I don't know any one else in the industry that has received one, either. That tells me that not many people know about it. Frankly, most dealers will get a fax request for a price quote and throw it in the trash. They feel that they'll never be able to sell someone that isn't sitting in front of them.
FWIW, Fighting Chance did inspire me to set up a similar website, based on my experience in the car business (look at the numbers FC claims to have sold to, multiply it by $39.95, and you do the math). It should be up and running by October 1st, and it will be available to Club FTE members at no charge. I'll let everyone know when it's ready.
