Hi, Posters & Administers. Been off the site for awhile, WORKING!.
I haven't been driving the '69 F-250 much because my family doesn't fit, 6 of us, so we started looking for a older Crewcab to restore, watched e-bay for awhile and finally saw a few that had promise for restoration and made a score on a 1970 F-250 4x4 short bed, with a 460/ C6, New interior, no RUST, Really nice one that I did not think I had a chance to get for the money we were willing to spend . My Girlfriend, kids & I leaving Saturday to pick it up, 500 mile drive, anticipation is a killer, can't wait .
Here is where it gets interesting, I told my girlfriend that we probably would not have much of a chance of winning the bid on this one, so she bid on another one (a '76), You got the picture or ,We now own two crew cab F-250's, Both for less than I would have expected for one. Now we will have to decide which to keep and which to sell, I'll post pic's of the '70 as soon as I get back (my favorite of the two).
I am glad to be back on the Forum and will be asking for your help and ideas.
