Saturday i am going to go look at a 1975 f250 crewcab 460 c6 4x2 the guy says it is a super camper trailer special. did they make one? how can i tell? is it by the vin? does anyone know the code to tell by the vin# ? for a camper special, trailer special, and a plain f250 crewcab 4x2. please help!
SCS's are 140 inch wheel base. Side mount spare tire. Mine is Ranger package. It has cruise control, duel batteries, intermittent wipers and no a/c. It still has original Goodyer High Miler spare tire.
i went onto ebay, looked at ford, then to the subcategory f350. organized it by year and just went to the 70s. the only way its going to be an f350 in any other year than 79, its going to be a cab\chassis or a scs. check the galleries here too. some of the pics on ebay are better than whats on here because all the people on ebay are trying to sell stuff. not saying people on here dont have good pics, theyre just not trying to convince you to buy something.
I picked up the 75 f250 crew cab 4x2 shortbed yesterday it was not a super camper special it is a custom trim with ac,c6,460,d60,3.73 limited slip ,front and rear sway bars and power steering and transmission coolers from factory.and almost rust free originally from arizona only has a few small dings in cab area but has a few big dents in the bed(looking for a good bed and tailgate)and the dashpad is shot (Arizona sun) Now i need to search and call ford for the build sheet. Thanks for the help!
