Check engine light
The check engine light has been on for a few days in my 2000 Explorer. I took it to AutoZone, they put it on their computer and told me the gas cap was taken off while the engine was running (which was highly possible). They did a reset but before I could make the 7 mile trip home the light was on again. Engine seems to be running fine. Any suggestions?

Have Autozone check the code again. Could be that you have a bad gas cap, and it doesn't hold pressure on the tank properly. I know that in Ohio one of the e-checks is for the gas cap. Go to a different Autozone, or have a different person read the code. Some of the Autozone folks are pretty good abouting sharing the code description, others aren't.
