I don't think there are any bigger aftermarket radiators for Bronco IIs since they aren't that popular for off-roading or fixing up. At least I have never seen any...
When I needed a radiator the guy at NAPA swore that all I needed was an aluminum one core radiator (believe it was Bodine). He was right, even at 95+ degrees with the A/C on it does not get 1/2 way to the hot mark.
Josh3972 was right on the mark. Went to the local salvage
yard and got a radiator out of a 93 4.0 liter Explorer
and put it in my 85 B2 with manual tranny. Slips right in
no problem. The only quirk is finding the right hose
for the lower radiator hose. Wound up using a flex hose.
Now the temp goes to the middle of the temp range
and STAYS there. 95 degrees...idiling in traffic...
stays cool as a cucumber.
Other solutions may work...having a rad shop clean the
old radiator...buying a new aluminum replacement...but
the $75 bucks that I spent at the salvage yard was the
best solution for me.
