Gauges not working
I have an '87 Bronco with the 300 and a C6, the 300 has been replaced by another 300 from a 1995, don't really know what though, good deal though. My problem is that after this swap my gauges didn't work, the oil pressure and engine temp gauges, which I didn't really mind until I got my push bar and lights, which I started to thinking that it might block air from my engine enough for it to overheat. The pressure gauge shows high and the temp gauage stays at cold, the rest of my gauges work, can anyone help me with this problem? I figure its probably wiring but don't know where to look.

Did you transfer the gauge senders from the old engine??? The newer engine being a 95 may have just had idiot lights. I know ford had two oil pressure senders one read like a gauge going up and down with the oil pressure and the other was just a indicator showing you had oil pressure and not how much. Get senders for an 87 ford.
As a last note--you didn't reverse the wires to the gauges did you and have the oil pressure on the temp gauge sender and the temp on the oil pressure???
