KUmho A/T's?

Hey out there, sorry I haven't posted much but been busy trying to modify my 03 Edge(4.0L, 2WD). The Goodyears RTS's have 42 K on them already and they're looking pretty lame! Being from Texas and getting the rain we've been getting I'm considering that factor into my choice of tires. I want to change from 235/75-15 to 31x10.5x15. Now, the question is which one?
My Ranger is pretty much my daily driver(there times I take off to my parents ranch house and cut loose on the country roads) but now and then my wife and daughter will use it to make short errands. They prefer the ranger than our F-150 Super Crew because of the size. THe ranger is easier to slip in out of places faster. I've searched info on MT's and decided against due to lack of wet traction. So, I been checking the following tires out on the net (price, tread life, and handling; especially in wet weather conditions):
1. Michelin LTX M/S (very pricey...145.00 each @ Discount tires)
2. Uniroyal Laredo Cross Country
3. Uniroyal Laredo AWT
4. Kumho Venture AT KL-41 ((Tire rack about 76.00 ea.)
5. Cooper Discoverer A/T (about 100.00 ea.)
I would appreciate and welcome all opinions good or bad on the tires above.
Please explain why they're good or bad. I know it's alot to ask but of what I've read and seen on this forum, this is the place to get the ins/outs on products. All of you out there know what you're talking about.
Again Thanx,
Hank

I dont have Any experience with the others but I will give a vote for the coopers. My grandpa has had a set on his 94 f 150 for as long as I can remember( at least 7 years) . And they still have at least 50% tread left and look new clean. They have been good tires. And when those go bad he will get another set.

I'm surprised you can actually fit a 31x10.50 on a 2wd ranger. I have some friends that run on michelin ltx's and they love them and they wear like iron. Very good tire that will last a long long time. I know some other people that have the bridgestone at revo's and they are very good as well, great traction and a smooth ride. Alot of people usually reccommed the bfgoodrich all terrain's but bfgoodrich uses a softer tire compound and they do wear out quicker. IMO I think they are a great looking tire with excellent traction but the life I've seen them have is around 40,000 miles I can't see replacing tires that soon. I don't mind paying a little more if they'll last a lot longer.
