Emmision light came on during a 500 mile trip. The computer said the TPS was bad. Replaced that, the light is still on, what else could cause the emmision light to come on?
There are many things that will make it come on. If you have not had any problems up to this point and it is running good. You may want to clear the codes to the computer it may be tripping the light on a stored code. If you have your own code reader it should tell you how to clear the codes once you have made a repair. Usually involves running the Engine Running test and turning the reader off in the middle of the test, or something along those lines. In the Haynes and Chilton manuals also it tells you how to erase stored codes. Hope this helps.
