springs

has anyone ever put 3/4 ton rear springs on a 1/2 ton? Is it possible?

I put 3/4T springs under my 1/2T 83 F150 with no problems and the only change was a little stiffer ride but it was not to bad. Made it a light 3/4T so i could fit a set of 31-10.50-15s under my truck without hitting the fenders

I don't think you would need an alignment if you put 3/4T Rear springs on a 1/2T.

If you were putting heavier springs on the front, you would. It would throw the camber out of spec.
