I need help. The brake light on the dashboard is on and it seems as though the parking brake is on. I am not sure what is wrong. The vehicle has been sitting for a little over a month, is there something I need to do?

Check the brake fluid in the master cylinder. If it is down you have a leak. Also it could be the Antilock Brake System or a bad brake light switch.Get it to someone who can service the brake system. Safety first.
